Saturday 5th August
A guided challenge walk in the Dark Peak area of the Peak District. This walk takes in the best of the Peak District summits. The stunning views and varied terrain all add to the enjoyment.
Our walk starts from the village of Hope and includes Win Hill, Kinder Scout, Brown Knoll, Rushup Edge, Mam Tor, Back Tor and Lose Hill, before descending to Hope to celebrate our achievement!
The route is a classic walk and race for fell runners and is approximately 22 miles/35km in length with 4600ft/1400m of ascent. It will take approximately 9 - 10 hours for us to walk the route. Participants must be fit and able to complete a full day out on the hills and be comfortable walking all day with just small breaks. Please be aware that the terrain is hilly and boggy in places.
Individuals are able to book a place on this 'open group' guided challenge walk to join a small group of others.
The cost to join this walk is £40 per person. Please book and pay below.
