Catrigg Force and Warrendale Knotts

Catrigg Force and Warrendale Knotts

Catrigg Force and Warrendale Knotts, Yorkshire Dales National Park

Sunday 19 May 2019

A guided walk a part of a small group of no more than six people plus your guide to explore the scenic area to the north east of the town of Settle.

Heading northwards from Settle, we follow part of the 'Pennine Journey' path through typical Yorkshire Dales countryside, passing through the villages of Langcliffe and Stainforth.  We then join part of the Pennine Bridleway route to visit the beautiful Catrigg Force waterfall.  Next it's over moorland, passing areas of limestone pavement into a valley where we take a look at a couple of interesting caves.  One of the highlights of the walk comes towards the end when we ascend the hill called Warrendale Knotts, with stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

The walk will be about 8 miles/13km with about 500 metres of ascent.

The price is £30 per person for this walk.  Please book and pay below.
