Travelling to the Peak District

Travelling by Public Transport

Travel by public transport

The Peak District and Derbyshire are easily accessible by public transport from most parts of the UK and Europe, and are only 2 1/2 - 3 hours by train from London.  To help 'do your bit' for the environment, we strongly encourage you to consider arriving by public transport.

We can design private guided walks to fit around public transport locations and times.  Please see individual walk descriptions for details of accessibility by public transport on our open group walks

To help you plan your journey, for air, rail and coach travel from Europe or the UK, you might find the GoEuro website useful, and for local bus and rail services, the Traveline website is helpful

For any missing links in the public transport network at this end, we suggest that you contact DJG Taxis They can pick up from all local airports and railway stations and take you straight to your accommodation.
