Yorkshire Dales & Lake District Open Group Guided Walks

Open group walks in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are perfect for individuals, couples, families or friends who would like to join a small group on a fully guided mountain or moorland walk that's a bit more stretching than our Peak District Walks.

Almost all walks are led personally by qualified and experienced guides Rachel Bolton or Richard Tower.

Occasionally we also offer Trek Training walks in the Lake District and they are listed here.

A few tips:

  • It is essential that you have proper hiking boots, outdoor clothing, and a reasonable level of fitness.
  • If you prefer a gentle stroll or a bespoke adventure, then private guiding might be more suitable for you.
  • Young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Dogs are not usually allowed on open group walks.
  • Our full programme of dates for open group walks, trek training, challenge walks, navigation training days and workshop clinics are listed on our guided walking calendar.

Please see our current Lake District Open Group walking programme below.
