Yorkshire Dales Open Group Guided Walks

Open group guided walks in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are ideal for individuals, couples or friends who would like to join a small group of others, on a fully guided mountain or moorland walk.  Why not book for two consecutive days and enjoy a walking weekend?

  • Small groups - usually no more than six people.
  • No minimum number required for walks to go ahead, so you can book with confidence.
  • Known guide - almost all walks are led personally by qualified and experienced guide Cath Lee.

It is essential that you have proper hiking boots, outdoor clothing, and a reasonable level of fitness.  If you prefer a gentle stroll in the countryside, then private guiding might be more suitable for you.  Young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Dogs are not allowed on open group walks.

All open group walks, including trek training, and challenge walks that still have availability are listed below.  Please see the guided walking calendar for the full walking programme including availability for private guiding.

We have a separate web page for open group guided walks in the Peak District.
