Monday 12 October - Friday 16 October 2020 - Fully booked
Due to Covid-19, we are taking reduced numbers on this and we'll be no longer sharing the large famhouse. Individuals or couples will each have their own self contained self catering unit. Pricing for the week will need to be adjusted and we'll be contacting everyone individually about this.
Something a bit different as we don't normally offer walking holidays including accommodation. This is a one off during 2020!
This mid-week walking break includes cottage style accommodation at Street Farm in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, near to Kirkby Stephen. After an exhilarating day out walking, there will be the opportunity to enjoy a glass or wine in front of a roaring log fire. The holiday is ideal for couples, or individuals wishing to join a small group of no more than six people on the walks.
The location is perfect for hill walking, and whilst the programme will remain flexible to take account of weather conditions etc, possible full day walks could include Wild Boar Fell (708m), The Howgill Fells (up to 676m), or Nine Standards Rigg (662m). If the weather is less than perfect, there are plenty of interesting lower level walks too. It should be possible to do at least one walk from the door of Street Farm Cottages, but for other walks you may need to drive to the starting location.
Our package includes:
You will need to bring your own food for breakfasts and prepare it yourself. For the evenings, you have the choice of preparing your own meal in your self catering kitchen, or there are some great pubs that do food a short drive away.
Arrival is from late afternoon on Monday 12 October, and departure is after breakfast on Friday 16 October.
The cost is just £325 per person (pricing to be adjusted to take account of changes necessary due to Covid-19). A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable upon booking and the balance of £225 is due by 12 September 2020.
Please book and pay your deposit below. You are booking with Cath Lee who will guide the walks during the week.
There is plenty of car parking at Street Farm if you drive to the Yorkshire Dales.
