Peak District Open Group Guided Walks

Open group walks in the Peak District and Derbyshire are perfect for individuals, couples, or friends who would like to join a small group of others on a fully guided hill, or moorland walk.  Why not book for two consecutive days and enjoy a walking weekend?

  • Small groups - usually no more than six people (reduced to no more than five during COVID-19 pandemic)
  • No minimum number required for walks to go ahead, so you can book with confidence.

Known guide - Almost all walks are led personally by qualified and experienced guides Rachel Bolton or Richard Tower.
It is essential that you have proper hiking boots, outdoor clothing, and a reasonable level of fitness.  If you prefer a gentle stroll in the countryside, then private guiding might be more suitable for you.  Young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Dogs are not usually allowed on open group walks.

All open group walks, including trek training, challenge walks, navigation training days and workshop clinics that still have availability are listed below.  Please see the guided walking calendar for the full walking programme.
