Kinder Scout - Rocky Tors & Ringing Roger

Fundraising walk for our favourite charities

1. Kinder Scout. Rocky Tors and Ringing Roger

Wednesday 12 May 2021

For this walk we will explore the eastern part of Kinder Scout.  We ascend one of the best routes by the side of Grindsbrook stream on to the Kinder Plateau.  This involves some very easy scrambling and is not difficult.  We then turn right and follow the plateau edge with its incredible sedimentary rock structures of gritstone on to Ringing Roger a larger outcrop and a stunning place to explore and view the surrounding landscape.  We descend to Edale via the fabulous newly constructed walkers path.

The distance is about 9km/6 miles with a height gain of 403m / 1,322ft

Peak Walking Adventures reserve the right to change the walk if weather conditions etc do not allow us to access the hills.

Please book below and choose the 'invoice' option as we are not making a charge for this walk.  We will invite you to make a donation to one of our chosen local charities.

You are booking with Rachel Bolton who will guide the walk on the day.
