A guided walk in the White Peak area of the Peak District, as part of a small group of no more than five people plus your guide.
This is a different kind of limestone scenery day to Saturdays Lathkill Dale walk. Our walk today includes Gratton Dale where we will hope to see many different types of wild flowers and the dry valley of Long Dale, again visiting old lead mining sites and the River Bradford .
The distance is about 8 miles/13km with approx 800ft/244m elevation.
The cost is £38 per person. You are booking with Rachel Bolton who will guide the walk on the day. Please book and pay below.
We meet at 9:15am to be ready for a 9:30am start in the Coldwell End car park in the village of Youlgreave. Car parking here is free of charge.
If you would like to stay locally the night before or after this walk, the village Youlgreave would be ideal. There are several other small villages nearby, or the town of Bakewell is just a short drive away.
For greater flexibility, why not do this as a private guided walk on a day of your choice, either on your own or with a group of friends or family?.
