The Peak District has a fabulous range of accommodation to choose from.  Whether you prefer camping, youth hostels, a B&B or a luxury hotel, there is something to suit all budgets.  

 

As the Peak District covers a large area, we suggest that you choose your guided walks from our programme first, and then search for accommodation in an area close to the starting point of those particular walks.

The Prince of Wales is a Village Pub & Restaurant in the heart of Baslow, where you will find a very warm welcome. The team serve a great selection of local artisan ales, beers, delicious wines, gins & botanicals. They source local fresh produce using the finest ingredients Derbyshire has to offer.

The Bulls Head Inn stands in the picturesque, limestone hamlet of Foolow. A friendly team offer fresh, seasonal food using local ingredients in an informal and relaxed atmosphere, with local ales and internationally awarded wines and spirits. Deluxe Rooms boast a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, with everything you’d expect from a 4-star property.

Green Farm Stables & Green Farm Cottage form part of a 17th century non-working farm in  Hognaston, near Ashbourne, comprising the owner’s house, plus two rental properties: a beautiful detached barn for eight (Green Farm Stables) and a cosy cottage for two annexed to the farmhouse (Green Farm Cottage). The Red Lion Inn is 200m. Carsington Reservoir is half a mile by footpath.

 

Barn@ is a perfect romantic escape for couples.  Situated in Hognaston Village, near Ashbourne, it offers ancient architecture with contemporary comfort. Space, underfloor heating, smart TV and a wood-fired log burner make this an inspiring destination. The Red Lion Inn is 50m and Carsington Reservoir, a 15 minute walk.

Stonecroft Country House Accommodation is ideally located for hill walking.  It can be found in the Vale of Edale, right at the foot of Kinder Scout.  Short breaks on a bed and breakfast basis are available at discounted prices if you book direct.  Stonecroft has been awarded Gluten Free Accreditation from Coeliac UK and also has a breakfast award from the English Tourism Council and the AA.    


Underleigh House

Underleigh House is an award winning 5 star B & B with 5 en suite bedrooms, tucked away on a private lane amidst glorious Peak District scenery near to the village of Hope. This is an ideal base for our Dark Peak guided walks for anyone arriving by car. Fantastic walks can be enjoyed right from the door.


Bagshaw Hall

Bagshaw Hall is conveniently located in the centre of Bakewell, making it a great base to explore all the Peak District has to offer.  Providing a variety of accommodation to suit all travellers in a sympathetically restored Grade 2 Star listed building dating back to the 1600s, and their adjacent Sleep Lodge.

Hoe Grange Holidays in the village of Brassington are one of the few Peak District accommodation providers to have achieved the prestigious Green Tourism Gold Award as well as numerous other awards.  They have a range of environmentally sensitive, luxurious self catering log cabins.  Highly recommended!


Ollerbrook Cottages

Ollerbrook Cottages  Nestled in the heart of the Vale of Edale, are Ollerbrook Cottages – two luxurious self-catering stone cottages sleeping 2-5 people.  You can walk straight from the door up Kinder Scout or on the other side of the valley, up onto The Great Ridge.  A fabulous location for some of the best hill walking in the Peak District.

 


Hollymeadow Farm

Holly Meadow Farm is an award winning farm Bed & Breakfast which lies in 280 acres of one of the most picturesque parts of Derbyshire in the village of Bradley near Ashbourne.  There are outstanding views over unspoilt countryside.  Two beautiful double en-suite rooms.  


Toms Barn and Douglases Barn

Tom's Barn and Douglas's Barn  are ancient cow sheds that have been tastefully converted to five star, luxury self catering cottages for two.  They are located in beautiful countryside on the edge of the village of Parwich right in the heart of the area known as The White Peak.  They have the Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award and the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark.  Tom's Barn is dog-friendly.  


Old Station House

 Old Station House, bed and breakfast is located in the charming village of Rowsley just south of Chatsworth. It has an 'Enjoy England' 4 star B&B rating with three en-suite guest bedrooms and plenty of off-road parking.  There are great walks right from the door.  


Glendon

Glendon offers an exceptional B&B accommodation in the town of Matlock.  Their beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, are designed to provide a restful ambience with stunning décor, crisp white bed linen and fluffy towels. Derwent House

Derwent House offers self catering accommodation for up to 12 guests.  It is an elegant grade II listed Georgian property set in the heart of Matlock and the perfect base for exploring the stunning Peak District National Park. The house has six bedrooms, so is ideal for larger groups.


Candlelight Cottage

Candlelight Cottage in the village of Litton is a luxury self catering cottage for 4 in the village of Litton which has a five star gold award.  They have the Visit Britain 'Walkers Welcome' award and have acheived the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark award.
